Jenny became a marketer by complete accident. Seriously. After college, she packed up her Pontiac G6 and headed to sunny California to start a career in the film industry. She had dreams of working on some of her favorite TV shows and blockbuster movies. Instead, she started storyboarding, editing, and publishing YouTube tutorial videos to help grow a small automotive company’s SEO. Just a few months later she was running that company’s social media strategy, setting up multiple email marketing campaigns, and actively participating in mastermind classes focused on small/medium-sized company growth.
Jenny made the 3,400-mile trip back to Ohio with a newfound love of all things marketing. She gained experience from working at a small Microsoft Partner startup and then transitioned to Babcock & Wilcox, a global, publicly traded company. Through it all, she has found ways to continue using her love of videography and will never pass up the chance to create a new video or podcast.
Where she gained her knowledge
Jenny graduated Summa Cum Laude from Baldwin Wallace University with a B.A. in Film and Studio Art. She has held a variety of random jobs from a barista at Starbucks to casting over 1,000 extras for Marvel’s The Avengers in Cleveland.
