Julie

Content Strategist

Julie started her professional life as a newspaper reporter. After meeting (and receiving flowers from) Wayne Newton, riding in a hot air balloon and picking up a husband, she traded her notebook for creative briefs and never looked back.

Her career in digital marketing began with a simple request from her boss: “Check out this Facebook thing and see if we can use it for marketing.” That simple request launched a long and (mostly) enjoyable journey through all corners of digital marketing, from social media and SEO to email campaigns. Always a writer at heart, Julie gravitated toward content marketing. Whether crafting an e-book, shaping the voice of a new website or editing with laser-like precision, she’s happiest when knee-deep in words. Now, as a Content Strategist at TKG, Julie channels her passion and experience into creating content strategies and stories that make a real impact for clients.

When she steps away from the keyboard, Julie loves life with her teenage daughters, husband, two dogs, two cats and a couple of aquariums, not to mention the growing vinyl record collection that has taken over her living room and beyond.
