About this position

As Senior Digital Strategy Manager, you will lead the strategic vision for key TKG marketing clients, collaborating across teams while managing your own client portfolio. Your role is critical in ensuring client goals are exceeded, driving both performance and revenue growth through quarterly and one-time digital strategies.


You will create, refine and optimize strategies, actively engage in client meetings (both within and beyond your portfolio), and introduce innovative ideas to enhance client success and grow wallet share of clients. This role requires strong leadership, client management and strategic decision-making, along with expertise in emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and guide the overall strategic vision for TKG’s key marketing clients – cross teams – to ensure that each client’s digital marketing strategy is focused on the clients’ goals and drives results
  • Direct, lead and oversee ongoing strategy for current clients, utilizing your expertise to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives, providing strategic guidance and ensuring successful implementation
  • Regularly review performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Evaluate and refine digital strategies for both personal and cross-team clients to enhance quality, consistency and innovation
  • Participate in client meetings across portfolios, providing insights and driving client success
  • Mentor and support Digital Strategy Managers, reviewing strategies and fostering collaboration
  • Both lead and execute digital strategy projects for new clients that are aligned to their goals, working closely with Creative and Development teams
  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, introducing new strategies and tools to enhance client success
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities, working with Account Managers on renewals, upsells and cross-sells
  • Ensure all client deliverables meet high-quality standards and strategic objectives
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients, serving as a strategic consultant and team decision-maker
  • Direct the internal approval process to ensure deliverables match strategy and client expectations
  • Identify additional opportunities, working with Account Manager to increase wallet share and consulting on contract renewal and one-time opportunities
  • Oversee ROI and results: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI), making data-driven decisions to optimize strategy and campaigns to achieve the desired outcomes, prepare and present reports on ROI status
  • Oversee and determine Heartbeats: Evaluate client ROI and client satisfaction, establishing "heartbeats" to assess the overall health of the client relationship, working closely with the Account Manager and Project Manager for key insights when it comes to the relationship temperature of clients
  • Provide task direction for team execution, using project briefs to clearly communicate task requirements and objectives to the execution team and working with PM to oversee execution

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee strategy for key marketing clients, while providing feedback & training to other DSM’s
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Develop digital marketing strategies and lead your team’s execution of those strategies
  • Ensure client satisfaction and campaign success
  • Participate in pitch team

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, digital advertising, marketing automation, social media and content marketing
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling strategy presentations to clients
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment while juggling multiple clients and projects
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, digital advertising tools, content management systems and social media platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring and reporting on KPIs and ROI
  • Ability to think strategically and inject innovative ideas into both client strategies and internal processes

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in developing and executing digital marketing strategies
