Artificial intelligence is a popular buzzword in today’s digital landscape. It can be used for anything from finding new recipes to learning a new skill. AI can also be used for digital marketing. No, you won’t have AI writing your whole website, but it can be a valuable asset to assisting in content creation. At TKG, we supplement our human-created work with AI to make exceptional content that furthers our clients’ digital marketing goals. This blog will take a closer look at some ways we use AI on behalf of our clients. 

Copy.ai

TKG uses Copy.ai for generating ideas, fleshing out video scripts and enhancing web pages. (It even helped me outline this blog). When I asked Copy.ai to describe itself, I received this response: “Copy.ai is an AI-powered platform that generates high-quality, engaging content for various marketing purposes.” Although our content is mostly created by our talented team, we draw on Copy.ai for some extra help. When we want to add length to a blog, but our brains are maxed out, Copy.ai can give us ideas that we may have overlooked. It is especially helpful when researching an industry that is more niche with less information readily available. With a few questions for Copy.ai, we can have a nice summary of the topic that is easy to follow and brings value to our content. In short, Copy.ai saves time that would normally be spent scouring the internet for information so we can devote more time to creating insightful content. 

Voiceover for Video

At TKG, we are proud of our exceptional video content. The saying goes that a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes a video needs context for an added layer of information. This is where voiceover for video comes into play. We simply input a script into an AI and we receive voiceover clips that can be used in combination with videos for extra details. With AI, we can adjust the pacing, speed and even the voice quality. Want a specific accent or speaking pattern but you don’t have access to a live person who fits that description? AI can generate a voice that mirrors any specifications you want. Even if a person is going to provide voiceover for a video, using an AI voice first can help us see if a script is too long or make other needed adjustments prior to a person ever saying a word. This makes more efficient use of time and leads to higher quality videos. 

Otter.ai 

This one is a little more behind the scenes, but it is just as valuable for assisting with quality digital marketing work. Even though we have some exceptional notetakers on our team, there are still instances where information can slip through the cracks. Now we have Otter.ai, our very own virtual notetaker that takes care of recording our meetings. Otter.ai is a busy worker (Machine? Animal? We aren’t quite sure yet how to refer to it) around the office as it is invited to multiple meetings every day. The job of Otter.ai is to listen to our meetings and then produce a detailed summary of everything we discussed. This makes it easy for us to quickly refer back to meeting notes when we start implementing the tasks that were decided on in the meeting. No more lost documents, illegible handwriting or tracking down the person who took notes in the meeting. With Otter.ai, the meeting notes are always accessible for quick access. It has helped us stay on the same page and have a more efficient line of communication.
