Content Creator

About the position

The content creator will work collaboratively with our creative and marketing teams to write, edit and develop effective promotional materials. All content should follow established brand guidelines to engage customers, drive results and create value for our clients. Copy will appear across different marketing channels and should demonstrate quality, stay on brand and follow AP Style (no Oxford commas, please).

The content creator will work as part of the creative team to execute strategy as determined by content strategists. This is an hourly, entry-level position without benefits. We are seeking a full-time employee but would be open to part time if it's a good fit.

Role and responsibilities

  • Take a detail-oriented approach to writing and editing
  • Know how to create effective, brand-aligned, engaging copy (i.e. social posts, press releases, print collateral, email, advertising and web content)
  • Review, edit and proofread work from the teams where needed
  • Follow established strategies and editorial calendars
  • Maintain brand consistency for clients across different channels
  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of popular social media platforms
  • Work across multiple projects and meet established deadlines
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with other team members
  • Exhibit courteous behavior with a positive attitude
  • Show an interest in digital marketing principles and techniques
