Jacob

SEO Strategist

With 10 years of experience in all areas of digital marketing, web development, sales and project management, Jake welcomed the opportunity to join The Karcher Group (TKG) as a SEO Strategist. The NFL was Jake’s dream growing up, but after suffering too many serious injuries he decided golf was a better option. Now, Jake is the second Jake on the TKG team who plays golf on somewhat of a professional level. He has been teaching golf professionally for over 10 years. Outside of golf, Jake is passionate about helping businesses succeed online and spending quality time with his family.

Where he gained his knowledge

Jake attended Kent State University majoring in Technical Studies with a concentration in Application Development. In between golf and classes, he started building websites and became an expert in WordPress. Jake landed his first internship with Net Steady where he performed computer network-related activities and worked under the CEO to assist in garnering new sales.

His second internship was with the Cleveland Browns Organization where he worked as a full-stack web developer. It wasn’t until Jake received the opportunity to run the small business division at an agency that he found a passion for digital marketing. Most recently, Jake worked as an SEO Strategist for a nationally-ranked eCommerce digital marketing company.
