TKG Institute Still Going Strong

With a record-setting 11 students currently enrolled in the program, it's safe to say that the TKG Institute is going strong! The Institute was created in 2007 to reach out to local high school and college students to make training available in technology based careers.

There are three facets to the TKG Institute. The first is the After Hours program. Students are employed three nights a week to work on our clients' websites, all under the watchful eyes of four TKG employees: James Golden, Colin Brimfield, Josh Tummel, and Josh McDermitt. James, our VP of Web Development, created the original template for Institute. Colin, an HTML Programmer, instructed this last session with the help of Josh T. and Josh M., both web application developers.

The second facet of the program is our 5-week training class. Students who would like to participate in the After Hours program but need more training can attend one of our classes to prepare. The third facet of the TKG Institute is the Internship program, which offers college students full-time or part-time internship positions during a semester or summer session of classes. These students work during normal business hours under the direction of the TKG staff to learn web development or search engine optimization.
