Stark County Entrepreneur Week

The Small Business Development Center at Kent State University Stark, in collaboration with the Stark County Chambers of Commerce and Stark Development Board, is sponsoring the ever first Stark County Entrepreneur Week to be held February 22-26, 2010.  Even better, our very own Geoff Karcher is part of the festivities!

The Week's keynote speaker will be Dan Gilbert, chairman and founder of Quicken Loans Inc., and majority owner of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and the American Hockey League's Lake Erie Monsters.

Other events include:

• A Panel of Entrepreneurs, including Geoff and several other local business owners
• Speaker: Senator Tom Daschle
• Speaker Jackie Peterson: "10 Steps to Business Success for Creative Entrepreneurs"
• Jackson Belden Chamber of Commerce Business Expo
• Keynote Speaker: Ray Leach, a 20-year veteran of entrepreneurial endeavors
• Stark County Student Entrepreneurs Competition
