SitesNow is Part of TKG Now!
We’re thrilled to announce we’ve just wrapped up the acquisition of SitesNow, a Cleveland-based Web Development, Design and Data Services firm.
Yep, we’ve gone and acquired ourselves an area web company – one with some uncanny similarities to TKG. Like us, SitesNow was founded in the mid-1990s (that’s, like, forever ago in web years). We also happen to share the same business philosophy, same approach to the web, even the same corporate colors and office furniture! Joining forces was simply meant to be, we suppose.
Why we expanded, extended, and any other "e" words you can think of.
The move accomplishes a few key things: it expands our physical “footprint” in the area, gives us greater market share, and extends the range of our Data Services department - an area of our business we felt could use some beefing up. All solid reasons, we think.
It’s works out pretty well for SitesNow clients, too. They keep the awesome Data Center customer service and reliability they know and love, but gain access to our entire range of web services (in particular Web Marketing) and team of 40+ developers, designers, and marketers - all under one roof. Perhaps most importantly, they all get one of our TKG pink foam brains, which are perfect for hurling at pesky coworkers.
The only changes coming are good ones.
We made this move to take what we have here at TKG and make it even better. If you're a client, any changes coming your way are most definitely good ones. Almost immediately, you should notice things like faster website speed and improved email delivery. On the way soon are some new services and additional Data Center upgrades.
We have absolutely no interest in dismantling what SitesNow spent 15 years building and refining. Instead, our approach is to integrate their expertise into TKG and use it expand what TKG has to offer.
Two great guys!
We’ll be honest – two of the things that made this deal extra-sweet were the addition of Bryan Sears and Greg Skouby from SitesNow. Yes, we brought them on board for their freakish knowledge of computer hardware, networks and blinking lights, but the fact is they're both all-around awesome guys. Bryan’s a marathon runner and home brewer. Greg’s a family guy and talk radio junkie. It’s worth mentioning that in the short time he’s been here, Greg has already won our BRAIN Award (our version of employee of the month). He's an "all hands on deck" kinda guy.

Stay Tuned...
We’ve got more exciting changes on the horizon at TKG. This is just the beginning of a planned growth strategy. Keep an eye on your email, our Facebook page, tkg.com, or just about anywhere we might have an online presence to see what we’ve got cookin' next.
