TKG Participates in Pumpkin Race; Proceeds go to MRDD Special Olympics

The 2008 Plain Township Great Pumpkin Race is taking place on Saturday, October 25. All the proceeds from this race will benefit Stark MRDD Special Olympics. This program benefits more than 400 people with mental and developmental disabilities by giving them the opportunity to participate in eight different sports.

The race is open for all ages and abilities. Registered runners will receive a long sleeve t-shirt, door prizes, and awards. There are also awards for the best Halloween costumes. For registration information log onto www.ohiochallengeseries.com or contact co- chairperson Mike Rey at 330-484-4814.
