Megan Karcher

Position at TKG: Treasurer (she's our "Momma K")

That's right, Megan is Geoff's mom - and Dana's, and Megan J.'s. Stacy's too! And if she's not in the office, you can be sure is still on-duty, either running errands or with one of the kids. She loves to "do lunch" and keeps a tight rein on the purse strings.

Megan sends out our invoices and manages all the other HR-type stuff (benefits, insurance, sick time and vacations, customer tracking).  Of course, we like to joke that one of her most important jobs is taking care of payroll, but it's really making sure we have things like electricity, water, shelter and an Internet connection!

When not at work, Megan's life revolves around:

• Her husband (Tom), four children, and sixteen grandchildren, and counting! - all of whom she considers a blessing

• Boating/Camping and other outdoor activities
  
• Crocheting

• Born and raised in Pennsylvania
  
• Likes reading really scary mystery novels
  
• Her husband's nick name for her is "Feisty Broad."

Where she gained experience and knowledge:

Penn State University
Although Megan majored in Social Sciences, and has worked in special education services (hey, that helps around here!). Let's face it, being a mother of four is enough experience to last a lifetime. Megan has also worked as a substitute teacher and spent many years working with folks with disabilities at the Work Shops, Inc.
