Megan Karcher treasurer
Position at TKG: Treasurer (she's our "Momma K")
That's right, Megan is Geoff's mom – and Megan J, Dana, and Stacy’s too! And if she's not in the office, you can be sure she is still on-duty, either running errands, volunteering or with some of the grandkids. She loves to "do lunch", especially if it’s Mexican!
Megan is part of the Leadership Team here at TKG. She is also our "community liaison". Megan is branching out into the community, working with the Plain Township Rotary, volunteering and slowing down just a little. She's decided it's time to have a little fun, meet some new people and pursue some volunteer opportunities in Stark County. Some days we have to run to catch up with her wherever she’s headed!
When not at work, Megan's life revolves around:
- Her husband (Tom), four children, and twenty-one (and counting) grandchildren - all of whom she considers a blessing
- Church
- Spending time with her 90 year old mother
- Boating/Camping and other outdoor activities
- Crocheting – or whatever her current hobby happens to be - they rotate on a 5 year cycle!

- Born and raised in Pennsylvania
- Likes reading really scary mystery novels
- Her husband's nickname for her is "Feisty Broad"
- She keeps a treasure chest full of chocolate in her office for visiting grandkids, or anyone who needs a sugar fix!
Where she gained experience and knowledge:
Penn State University
Although Megan majored in Social Sciences, and has worked in special education services (hey, that helps around here!). Let's face it, being a mother of four is enough experience to last a lifetime. Megan has also worked as a substitute teacher and spent many years working with folks with disabilities at The Workshops, Inc.
