TKG Invited to Speak to Leadership Akron Group

Our Web Marketing Manager, Jennifer Geh, and Social Media Marketing Specialist, Corey Hammond, have been invited to speak to the Leadership Akron Alumni Group on March 12, 2009. This event is being hosted by the Akron Canton Food Bank.  Thanks to Dan Flowers, President/CEO of the Akron Canton Food Bank for the invitation to speak on Social Media Marketing.

Jen and Corey will be sharing insights on how to promote and increase online brand awareness through social media marketing sites like Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others. They will also be discussing how to use these sites to find and interact with your business's target audiences.

Social Media Marketing can be an effective and affordable outlet to maintain your online reputation and gather some free competitive research in the process.  That being said, it's all about what is appropriate for your specific business, and Jen and Corey will be explaining those senarios.  They'll also give some advice on how to navigate the personal vs professional aspects of these sites -- it can be tricky!
