Josh Gordon director of client services & communications
Talk to Josh for just a few minutes, and you'll quickly see that his family is the most important thing in his life. He met his wife, Tara, their junior year of high school, and they have two kids Luke (3) and Caleb (1). Luke loves books like his old man, and Caleb loves to make other people laugh.
Professionally, Josh cut his teeth as a journalist out of college, then jumped over to the corporate world at an ad agency where he worked on accounts including John Deere, Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo, Can-Am ATVs, HSBC Bank, as well as new business development. From there, he worked in the software industry with Knotice as Director of Marketing, gaining experience in email marketing, onsite targeting, database marketing and mobile marketing.
Josh genuinely loves reading, writing and teaching others about the industry.

Where he gained experience and knowledge:
Josh graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. He brings a wealth of marketing and managment experience to the Group, having gained experience at Malone Advertising and Knotice. Josh has been published in a number of industry publications including iMedia Connection and 1to1 Media. He also has a few industry awards to his credit:
- Two 2010 Communicator Awards of Excellence. One for Writing – Feature Article and another for Writing – Column.
- 2010 Apex Award for Publication Excellence for a white paper entitled “Making Sense of Mobile Marketing”
- 2010 Hermes Creative Award for excellence in marketing communications, also for “Making Sense of Mobile Marketing”
- 2003 Associated Press award for Feature Article of the Year
